In 2007 long time model builder and expert indoor flyer Emil Schutezel designed a nice indoor model called the Space Bug. It has features similar to other "beginner" style models.  It is set up with landing gear to allow rise off ground (ROG) take offs and landings. It it is easy to build and trim and represents a great sport flying indoor model. Emil's original plan was redrawn to make it easier to present in digital format. Like other classic indoor ROG models, this design could also be used as a club one design event model for casual competition flying. If flown just for fun or in casual competition, the Space Bug can deliver a lot of enjoyable indoor model airplane flying.

The plan has been set up to print on a 11 by 17 inch sheet of paper (U.S. Tabloid Size). It is important to note that you should have any print scaling (print to fit printer margins for example) turned off when printing the content of the provided Adobe PDF file.

In addition to the plan, also provided is a 3D print file (stl format) for a 6" Larrabee blade profile propeller suitable for this model.
