This is a 25" span model intended for the Flying Aces Club (FAC) Golden Age event. Models flown in that event are not judged but do have meet the basic FAC rules for scale models. To help make the model easier to store and transport, it is set up with removable wing panels and landing gear. The prototype model has the colors and markings of the Curtiss Robin in the Kermit Weeks Fantasy of Flight Museum.
The plan package, assembly guide, documentation, and ink jet printed tissue layouts are provided here. Also provided are .stl files for 3D printing the exhaust stacks, nose block, wheels, and nose plug should that option be desired over making the parts from balsa and plywood.
